HABITS CAN BE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE

1. CAN YOU IDENTIFY A POSITIVE HABIT THAT YOU HAVE? HOW CAN YOU STRENGTHEN IT?

    People tell me that I have many positive habits; one of them is that I am an optimistic person. I agree with this as I noticed that I always try to have a positive outlook on every obstacle I face. Being optimistic has helped me go through tough times, especially at this time of the pandemic, and having online classes, which reduces the stress and anxiety I feel. I also try to become more optimistic for my friends, hoping that it'll somehow keep them motivated. In strengthening this habit, I always try to focus on the goals I want to achieve and not stress the problems I'll face. These will help me stop predicting the future because it is terrible whenever I try to think ahead of it and still get disappointed on the outcome. 

2. CAN YOU IDENTIFY A NEGATIVE HABIT THAT YOU HAVE? HOW CAN YOU CHANGE 

    Out of all my negative habits, the worst one is that I tend to overthink everything. Although there was a time this year that I was finally able to prevent myself from doing it, still, it comes back to me. This habit lowered my self-esteem and confidence since I am afraid that I will disappoint everyone in everything I do. It also manages to slow down my productivity, which is terrible, especially during online classes, and when I have deadlines to pass. To change this habit, I always try to calm myself down and rest whenever things start to feel overwhelming. I try to become more optimistic like we've what I've said before, as it will help reduce the anxiety of facing change. I also try to accept change and not be too hard on myself whenever I make mistakes, as it will help me reduce the chances of overthinking.
