This song tells a story. Listen to the song up to the end and pay attention to the LYRICS of the song which gives the story and the message. Then, answer the discussion questions that follow.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: (answer in 5-10 sentences per question)
1. What is the song all about? What are the main parts/messages of the song that give the story? Explain and give supporting statements found in the lyrics/message.
2. Cite a line or lines in the song that touched or impacted you the most and explain why.
"Sometimes it lasts in love, but sometimes it hurts instead". For me, this line in the song had the most impact on me, as this summarizes what we should always expect when we get into relationships. Although I had to analyze it a bit more, this line had stuck on me as it makes me feel more emotions than the other set of lyrics, especially with its great composition. This set of lyrics will remind us that sometimes, love can last and make us happy whilst to others, it can be the one that breaks and hurts them the most. It is a reminder for us that in every relationship, whether it be platonic or romantic, we will always have different perspectives about the love we feel and express. With this, we should always remember that although we are uncertain about the fate of our relationship, we should remind ourselves that all will be alright, our feelings are valid, and that the joy and pain we'll experience will always a part of our growth as human beings.
